Frequently Asked Questions
Are breathable crate covers safe for car travel?
Yes — breathable fabric covers that are not PVC-coated and that keep openings available are safer than plastic-backed covers. Always avoid fully closing a cover in a car or hot environment; keep vents and an open front if possible to ensure fresh air circulation.
Will a cover fit my metal iCrate?
Many travel-friendly covers are designed to fit common MidWest/iCrate-style metal cages in multiple sizes. Measure the crate’s width and door configuration (single vs double door) and choose the corresponding size. Customers sometimes report fit variation, so check return policies before travel.
How do I clean a fabric crate cover after a trip?
Look for machine-washable covers — the Pet Dreams options are designed to be machine washable. Wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, air-dry or tumble low per the care tag, and store dry to avoid mildew or lingering smells.
