Frequently Asked Questions
Will a blanket-style cover stay on during driving?
Blanket-style covers with slip-resistant backing and containment edges generally stay put during normal RV movement. For extra security, choose covers with silicone dot backing or use Velcro/straps to anchor the blanket to crate bars or RV fixtures.
Can I machine wash these covers while on the road?
Most of the Gorilla Grip blankets are machine washable; check care tags for water temperature and dryer guidance. For on-the-road cleanup, a quick shake and surface wipe can delay full washing until you reach campground laundry facilities.
Should I choose a foldable crate or a cover?
If you already own a rigid metal crate and need temporary protection, a fast-install waterproof cover is lighter and packs smaller. If you want a combined transport and shelter solution that sets up instantly, a foldable crate like the 2PET is more convenient.
