Frequently Asked Questions
Are these portable kennel covers waterproof?
Most models here use 600D Oxford polyester with a water-resistant coating, so they shed light rain and provide a dry interior for short showers. They’re not intended as full-weather tents in heavy downpours; use a tarp or sheltered campsite for extended wet weather.
How do I pick the right size?
Measure your dog from nose to tail and head to paw, then add room for a bed and bowls. Choose a size that lets your dog stand, turn and lie comfortably; when in doubt pick the next size up for weekend use.
Will these withstand a chewer or an escape artist?
Soft-sided playpens and shade covers are not chew-proof. They’re fine for calm, supervised pets but not for dogs that actively chew or push hard on walls. For chewers, use a metal crate or a reinforced pen designed to withstand stronger force.
